Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Nerqis Ltd respects intellectual property rights and expects users of Purrfect Studio to do the same. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Your responsibility
You are responsible for everything you put into the Service and for what you do with its output. By using the Service, you confirm that you own or have permission for what you upload or refer to, including scripts, images, music, voices and the likeness of real people, and that your use of the output will not infringe anyone's rights.
We do not check generated content for similarity to existing works. AI output can resemble existing material, and clearing it before you publish it is up to you.
2. What is not allowed
- Uploading or adapting a protected film, series, script, artwork, recording or composition without permission.
- Prompting for a protected character, brand or a living artist's or performer's voice or likeness without permission.
- Removing copyright information, or getting round technical protection.
- Uploading again something removed for infringement, or falsely claiming ownership.
3. Reporting an infringement
Send a notice to [email protected] with:
- your name and email address, and the fact that you hold the right or may act for the person who does;
- the work that you say is infringed;
- what exactly you are reporting and where it is, for example a link, series or episode;
- why it is infringing or otherwise illegal;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete.
Purrfect Studio projects are private, so often you will find the material where it was published, such as DramaMint or another platform. Please also report it to that platform: we can act only on what we hold.
4. What we do
We assess a sufficiently precise and substantiated notice in a timely, diligent and objective manner. We may remove or disable the content, and we tell the person who sent the notice and the user concerned what we decided and why, and how to challenge it. We may act before informing the user where the law, safety or the risk of harm calls for that. We have no general duty to monitor content, and we may reject a notice that is unfounded or incomplete.
5. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to [email protected], identifying the content and explaining, with evidence, why you may use it. Our process is in the Complaint and Appeals Policy. A counter-notice does not guarantee restoration while a dispute remains unresolved.
6. Repeat infringers
We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
7. Misuse
Knowingly false notices may expose the sender to legal liability, and we may stop handling notices from someone who sends them repeatedly.
8. Our own rights
The Purrfect Studio name, mark and software belong to us. For a question about using them, or a trade mark complaint, write to [email protected].
